Dr. Xuying Li, Assistant Professor of Music Performance at Beijing Normal University – Hong Kong Baptist University United International College (UIC), Collaborative Pianist of Zhuhai Grand Bay Theater Yangfan Youth Chorus, Board Member of Zhuhai Cultural Creative Industry Research Institute (ZHICCI), Member of Guangdong Musicians’ Association, Member of Zhuhai Chorus Association.

 

Dr. Li is a highly accomplished musician and educator with an impressive educational background. She obtained her doctoral degree from the School of Music at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, where she also served as an Artistic Guidance and Piano Collaborative Teaching Assistant. Prior to her doctoral studies, Dr. Li earned her master's degree from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, where she concurrently pursued chamber music performance. Her musical journey began with a bachelor's degree in Piano from Xinghai Conservatory of Music.

 

With a wealth of experience in solo, chamber, and orchestral performances, as well as in teaching, Dr. Li has organized and performed in numerous solo recitals, chamber music concerts, lecture-demonstrations, and masterclasses both domestically and internationally. She has also served as an artistic director for various levels of performances and competitions on a regular basis.

 

Dr. Li's expertise has led her to present lectures on topics such as "The Various Roles of Piano Performers in Performance" and "The Inheritance and Evolution of Western Piano Nocturnes" at multiple venues worldwide. She has also participated in the recording of a clarinet concerto featuring Gabriel Campos-Zamora, Principal Clarinet of the Minnesota Orchestra, in collaboration with the Minnesota Percussion Ensemble. Additionally, Dr. Li has served as the artistic director for national tours, including "Glintwine Enchanting Journey" and "A Concert Dedicated to Chinese Art Songs."

 

Her outstanding abilities have been recognized and sought after, as she has been invited to serve as a judge for several prominent piano competitions in China, including the 5th Asia International Piano Grand Prix, the 7th KAWAI Asia Piano Competition in 2023, and the 5th Lotus Cup Macao Youth Piano Competition in 2022. These experiences have garnered widespread acclaim and appreciation.

李栩盈,留美钢琴演奏博士,北京师范大学香港浸会大学联合国际学院音乐表演专业助理教授,珠海大剧院扬帆少年合唱团钢琴艺术指导,珠海文化创意产业研究院理事,广东省音乐家协会会员,珠海市合唱协会会员。

 

李博士毕业于美国明尼苏达大学(双子城分校)音乐学院 (University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, School of Music) 获博士学位,并担任艺术指导和钢琴协作助教;硕士毕业于美国辛辛那提大学音乐学院 (College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati) ,并同时修读室内乐演奏;本科毕业于星海音乐学院钢琴系。 李博士具有丰富的独奏、室内乐和乐团演奏及教学经验,在国内外多地举办过多场独奏和讲演音乐会、室内乐音乐会、大师班讲座等,并常年担任各级演出、比赛的艺术指导。

 

李博士曾在国内外多地讲演 “钢琴演奏者在演奏中的不同身份","The Inheritance and Evolution of Western Piano Nocturnes"等课题;参加明尼苏达交响乐团首席单簧管演奏家 Gabriel Campos-Zamora 与明尼苏达打击乐室内乐团合作的单簧管协奏曲录制;担任"沉醉的旅程"Glintwine 热红酒乐队全国巡演以及《中国艺术歌曲专场音乐会》等演出的艺术指导;受邀到国内各地担任多个钢琴比赛的评委工作,如第五届亚洲国际钢琴大奖赛、2023 第七届 KAWAI 亚洲钢琴大赛、2022 第五届《莲花杯》澳门青少年钢琴大赛等,受到广泛关注与好评。
