Violinist, Szu-Ying Wang began her musical studies at the age of five, in her native Taiwan, where she won prizes in several violin competitions.
Szu-Ying received her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Maryland, Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University.
Szu-Ying has performed throughout the United States, Canada, France, and Asia as a solo recitalist and chamber musician. She has performed at the Kennedy Center, Taiwan National Concert and Recital Halls, Library of Congress and Strathmore Hall. Szu-Ying has performed concertos with the National Hsinchu University of Education Symphony Orchestra.
Szu-Ying has performed in masterclasses with Victor Danchenko, Guarneri
String Quartet, Gérard Poulet, James Busewell, and Lynn Chang.
Szu-Ying is currently on the faculty of the National Taiwan University of the Arts and National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan
