Kanin started learning piano and music fundamentals at the age of five, then 4 years later began his violin lessons with Rear Admiral Veeraphan Vawklang at Bangkok Symphony Music school (BSS).


In 1997-2003 he was a member of Thai Youth Orchestra and has been a member of 
Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra (RBSO) since 2002, considered to be the youngest member at that time. Currently he is acting as Co-Principal 2nd Violin for the orchestra. 


In 2003, Kanin was given a scholarship from HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana Classical Music Funds to participate the International Music Camp in Mannheim, Germany.


After graduated from Bangkok Christian College, Kanin continued his music studies at University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, one of the oldest and the best music Universities in Europe. As the first Thai student there, Kanin has studied with 
Prof. Reiner Küchl, Concertmaster of Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Wolfgang David an internationally known Austrian violinist and Prof. Jela Spitkova
Thereafter he pursued further studies in Master Degree Violin Performance at Music Academy Banska Bytrisca in Slovakia with Prof. Jela Spitkova and Viola Chamber music at University for music and performing arts Graz (KUG) with Prof.Stephan Goerner (Carmina Quartet)

He has been selected to attend many master classes with famous violinists and performed often together with World-class musicians such as Midori Goto, Alberto Lysy, Joshua Bell, Boris Belkin, Roman Nodel, Jose Carreras, Mikhail Pletnev, Su-mi Jo etc. 
In 2006, he has served as principal second violin of the Niederösterreich Jugendorchestra and has performed under many orchestras in Austria such as Webern Symphony Orchestra, Recreation Graz, Sinfonietta Baden, Korean-Austrian Philharmonic Orchestra etc. In 2016, Kanin and his Quartet was invited to perform in International Guitar Week Graz
.

In 2018 Kanin was chosen by BMW Thailand to be in the BMW Stories campaign and worked with Maestro Zubin Mehta.

Currently, he is teaching violin and viola at the college of music, Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand.
