Ching-Hung Leo Lo began to study music at the age of five, and he made his first public appearance as young violinist at the age of nine. Mr. Lo received his musical training and violin study in several places such as Vienna Austria, Melbourne Australia, and few cities in the United States. In 2010, Mr. Lo obtained the Doctoral of Musical Arts degree from the Rutgers, New Jersey State University, under the guidance of the legendary Guarneri String Quartet violinist Arnold Steinhardt.


As a pupil of the Guarneri String Quartet violinist Arnold Steinhardt, Mr. Lo had great inspiration and influences by Mr. Steinhardt. Mr. Lo won several prizes including first place in the Melbourne Concerto Competition, the Australian Jewish Association Competition, Chamber Music Award in Boston and performed throughout Australia, Europe, US, China, and Taiwan. Mr. Lo collaborated with many well known musicians including Silk Road Ensemble bagpipe player Cristina Pato, Korean-American pianist Min Kwon, New Jersey Symphony Orchestra principal cellist Jonathan Spitz, and Orion String Quartet violinist Todd Phillps... etc. Mr. Lo was highly praised by the New York Concert Review INC.


Mr. Lo is currently an Assistant Professor at the Music Department of National Tsinghua University and the Music Department of Soochow University in Taipei Taiwan.


In addition, Mr. Lo is the founder/music director of Starry Music Academy of Arts in Taipei, also served as concertmaster of NewArts Symphony Orchestra.
