Wen-Yuan Lin, winner of the National Flute Association’s Orchestral Excerpt
Competition in 1994. Now play Principal flute at Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra in Taiwan.
Received Master of Music in flute performance degree at State University of New York. Her principal studies in flute performance were with Carol Wincenc, Nadine Asin and Julius Baker.
During Professionally play in the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra, she has received great appreciation from many world renown conductors and concerto with Symphony orchestra multiple times. Such as Play Gary Sckocker’s Green Places Concerto with KSO in 2004, Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 2 in B minor in 2008, Doppler’s Fantasie Pastorale Hongroise in 2013, Chaminade Concertino in 2016, Mozart’s Flute and Harp Concerto in 2017, Miss Lin’s unique performance touched the soul deeply of everyone in the audiences with her wonderful tone color control and perfect interpretation of sound.
Carol Lin has achieved great accomplishments during her teaching years; her students have won marvelous awards all over the world and some have received master and doctoral degrees and subsequently joined the teaching staff in education or worked as professional music players in the orchestra.
Carol Wen Yuan Lin’s great fame makes her name commonly mentioned on the radio, in magazines, in news reports and even on TV. international music camp.
As a music director at Miracle Flutestars Orchestra, she has programed numerous
successful concerts throughout Taiwan. Carol Lin have two CDs been published. She is a highly active solo flutist and chamber music teacher in Taiwan.
